Complete Punch Needle Set - Lavor Needles

The complete punch needle set gives you all the sizes available. You can use different yarns, from embroidery floss to thick wool. All 3 needles are adjustable, meaning you can make loops of different lengths to create that beautiful texture we all want.

The needles are made with handles of recycled plastic and steel needles.

The SMALL punch needle comes in a small package with 3 different size needles, ranging from 1 mm to about 3 mm in thickness. You can use this needle with 6-strand embroidery floss and a thin yarn of 2 mm to 3 mm. This gives those nice details! The punch needle is approximately 10.5 cm, depending on how you adjust the needle.

The larger needles are in size REGULAR (5.5 mm) and FINE (4 mm). They can be adjusted to 7 different heights, allowing for different loop heights in your work. This feature makes punching very fun, as you can easily add texture to your artwork. It is very simple to adjust the height, just move the handle over the notches and twist until it clicks into place.

It is possible to thread the REGULAR needle with chunky yarn and even super chunky, if the yarn is very soft. The FINE needle is suitable for worsted weight yarns.

All punch needles come with a metal WIRE as a threader. In my YouTube video, you can see how I use a WEAVING NEEDLE as a threader for the normal size needle. This needle is no longer available, you can now choose the Lavor threader.

BASE FABRIC:
I recommend using monk's cloth as a base for working with a punch needle. I find that a count of 11 - 14 works best (24 × 26 is another way of measuring, also good). But since this is a very small needle, an even underlying linen fabric would also work.
